Mad Rollin' Dolls

In August 2004, Mad Rollin' Dolls held a donation drive for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, which offers a 24-hour crisis line, a 25-bed safe house for women and their children, legal advocacy, support groups, information and referrals. Then again in October, we donated a portion of proceeds from our Pirate Party to DAIS.

DAIS is a community-based, feminist organization dedicated to ending domestic abuse. The purpose of their work is two-fold: to empower those who have been affected by violence, and to transform societal attitudes and institutional barriers that perpetuate violence and the abuse of power and control in our society.
