GIRL NEIGHBORHOOD POWER

In October 2006, Mad Rollin' Dolls donated proceeds generated through the online airing of the Borderline Assault bout in Minnesota, between the Dairyland Dolls and the Minnesota Rollergirls, to Madison's Girl Neighborhood Power.

Also, back in May 2005, Mad Rollin' Dolls donated a portion of our proceeds from our first season semifinals bout and afterparty to Girl Neighborhood Power to help raise funds for their cultural exchange trip to Jamaica.

Madison's Girl Neighborhood Power initiative provides girls ages 9-14 with the opportunities and support they need to become confident skilled young women through a comprehensive approach including leadership, community service, health education and career development. Girl Power uses the power of youth, family and the community to strengthen resilience, build skills, and provide opportunities, so that girls make responsible choices and reach their highest aspirations.
