WFTDA Tournament season kicks off September in Maryland as Baltimore's Charm City hosts the East Regional Playoffs. Three weeks later, MRD's Dairyland Dolls head to Indianapolis for Monumental Mayhem, the North Central Region Playoffs. The only thing more exciting than our chance to win a spot at Nationals in November is the prospect of beating Minnesota Roller Girls to get there. Why is this so thrilling?

At last year's North Central Playoffs in September, we took third place under Minnesota after a loss to them in the Semi-Final bout. Four months later we traveled up to Minnesota where MNRG dominated again on their home turf, winning by over 100 points. So Regionals this year will be an epic rivalry bout for both of our teams. It's almost like they named it after us!

What have your DDs been doing to get ready for this incredible game ahead of us? We recruited some fresh talent this spring, trained them to skate like monsters, and then threw them up against the likes of Detroit, Windy City, Steel City, Charm City and South Carolina and The Outfit to give them a taste of the big time. Now we're going to hone all of our newly gained experience into a flat-track killing machine and roll it down to Indianapolis on October 7 to take down some Minnesota Roller Girls.
