Madison, March 13, 2007 — As temperatures heat up in
the Mad City, so does the derby! The Mad Rollin' Dolls
roll out of the regular season, and embark on some serious
post-season mayhem on their way to the Championships.
In two mind-blowing bouts on March 3rd, the undefeated Reservoir
Dolls nabbed another win, but not before the Vaudeville Vixens
put up quite the fight. Despite a solid effort by the Unholy
Rollers, the superheroes in green kept the undead in their
coffins. The final scoreboards read Reservoir Dolls 124, Vaudeville
Vixens 101, and Quad Squad 106, Unholy Rollers 36.
On Saturday, March 31, the playoffs begin. The seeds are
set, and the semifinals will see the #1 Reservoir Dolls take
on the #4 Unholy Rollers, while the #2 Quad Squad will face
the #3 Vaudeville Vixens. But despite the standings, anything
is possible, and anyone could take the 2007 trophy in April.
Be ready for the fastest jams, the hardest hits, and the wildest
night of the season, as all four teams battle their way to
the championships. Hang onto your seats and bring your inhalers,
'cause this bout's gonna leave you breathless!
The Dolls love animals; a portion of the bout proceeds will
go to Angel's Wish, a no-kill shelter that advocates the humane
treatment of our furry friends. At halftime, Jason Schneider,
the Madman of Magic, will take you on quite the trip. After
the bout, get your party on at the High Noon Saloon, where
Cats Not Dogs, The Habitual Linesteppers, and The Worn Out
Shoes will be rockin' 'til the wee hours.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and are available
at Fast Forward Skate Center, Freedom/Knuckleheads, Capital
City Tattoo, Cha Cha Beauty Parlor, Lakeside Press, the High
Noon Saloon, and at www.madrollindolls.com.
