Just when you thought it couldn't get any more tense, the Mad Rollin' Dolls kicked it up another notch when they laced up their skates for their third bout on March 20, 2005. The first two bouts of the season left the league with ties at both ends of the standings, so this became a day of reckoning. In the opener, the Psycho Kitties came out on fire and took an early lead against the Quad Squad. Backed by their aggressive blockers, Dolly Pardon Me, Hell Kat and Frenchie gave the crazy cats an inspirational start. The shooting stars didn't stay down very long as Thunder Kitten, Jenny Knoxville and Princess Die came roaring back. The fast paced period left the Quad Squad with a 42-18 lead. In the second half, both teams skated as hard as they fought. The penalties came almost as fast as the points, keeping the Doll of Discipline busy. With tensions high, the catfights turned into brawls as both teams struggled to earn their first victory of the season. In the end, the Quad Squad would not be denied, with the final score 96-46.

In the most anticipated match of the season, the Unholy Rollers faced the Reservoir Dolls in a battle of titans. Both undefeated teams were looking to take sole possession of first place in the league. The action came fast and furious with no mercy given in the first half. Pocahotass was dealt a crushing block by Yngrid Murdersteen, taking her down fast and hard. The feisty Reservoir Doll crawled back onto the track, cleared the cobwebs, and raced back to catch the pack, scoring big points in the process. Her jamming, along with Crackerjack and Tatum Tantrum, put Bubba's babes on a 30-17 halftime lead. The Unholy Rollers would not go down without a fight. Maverick, Jewels of Denile and Yngrid brought the dolls of darkness back to life in the second half. Both sides used brutal blocking to beat up the other team's jammer, drawing plenty of penalties. In the end, the lead was too much and the Reservoir Dolls knocked the Unholy Rollers from the ranks of the unbeaten, 67-44. The bad blood between these teams may spill again in the playoffs.

Scores:
Psycho Kitties 46, Quad Squad 96
